We celebrated Halloween last night at a local party. I had so much fun in my Dame of the Dead costume. My friend Jeannie helped me with the makeup and it was perfect.  Even my close friends didn’t recognize me until I spoke.

The ladies Day of the Dead costume was easy to wear. I am too old for many of the modern, sexy costumes. This one covered me up and was great to dance in. There were black lights near the dance floor and I guess I glowed! Friends tried to get a picture but um, I don’t think the black light glow will come across in a flash picture. Guess you had to be there.

The Dame of the Dead and Del Muerto Groom Costumes were exclusives at my favorite Halloween retailer. They are quality costumes coming with all you need except for makeup and possibly a wig for the ladies costume. And you’ll need your own shoes. I wore black boots with mine.

If you’re looking to do a whole family outfit to celebrate El Dia de los Muertos, I would suggest picking up a kids skeleton costume, not using the mask (masks are uncomfortable anyway) and adding your own makeup.

It did not take long, the Michael Jackson Halloween costumes are already available. The King of Pop is gone but he will live on forever in his music and will be immortalized in Vegas and at Halloween.

Michael Jackson is predicted to be one of the top selling costumes this year. Although they come in men’s sizes, we think that many women will be wearing the MJ costumes as well. Today the Michael Jackson Beat It costume is in stock. The costume is the colorful red jacket, you add a wig and your own pants.  Later this month, we will have the Michael Jackson Thriller, Bad, and Billie Jean costumes.
